Couldn't make up my mind where to put this, but knowing Marianne, Steelers Talk seemed the right place. Marianne loved SU, and all of it's members.

One year ago the heart and sole was taken from this forum. Those that knew her will always remember and love her. Those that did not,,,,,,,,, I feel sorry for you.

We never made it to the beach like we planned, but where ever I am, you are still beside me.

Yep, it certainly isn't the same without her, that's for sure. I miss her even more now than when she first passed. And it still hurts like hell.

We think about you always,
we talk about you still,
you have never been forgotten,
and you never will.
We hold you close within our hearts,
and there you will remain,
to walk with us throughout our lives
until we meet again.

I miss the hell out of you, Marianne. My life has not been the same over the past year, to say the least.

Between my Mom and Marianne, it's safe to say I hate the month of April.

A true LADY of class. She helped me through a few tough times for sure, always a pleasure to talk with, such a great sense of humor too. It is hard to believe a year has passed.

I never got the chance to meet her personally, which I regret. Someday, I'll run into her...I'll know who she is by the Terrible Towel in her hand and that beautiful smile.

Still miss you Marianne. The season wasn't the same without you throwing your slipper at the TV.

Not a day goes by that I don't have at least one thought about Marianne... I couldn't believe that it has been a year already, but I should have known - - - when I opened the drapes in my 'cave', this morning there was a duck walking past the window - - and the nearest body of water is at least a mile or two away... I have lived here for 3 years, and it is the first time I have seen a duck.... I know that somehow, that great lady was sending me a 'Hello'......

The pain of her loss will always be with us, but I find it is easier to remember all the good things - - and we can be grateful that we had her with us as long as we did.... Love you, lady, and miss you bunches.... Hugs....

She might have been know as HometownGal, HellofaGal is probably more appropriate.

As others have said, this place truly isn't the same. Every time I read a downer post about the Pens or Steeler, I still expect her to come by and internet slap somebody for their negativity. XT, no offense intended, but sometimes when you get down on the Pens, and one of your posts reflect that mood, I think to myself - wow, Marianne would have whooped him up for that. Never met her personally, but she was easily one of the most positive people I have ever run across.

I am blessed to have known Marianne she was a Great woman and the one who really gave her all to keeping things on an even keel and yet still interesting. I consider myself lucky to have at least known her through this forum as a friend. It would have been great to have met her in person.

A dear friend to us all, Marianne you are Dearly missed, but never forgotten.

She was probably one of the first friends I made back on SF. Talked often in PM for a variety of reasons. I do miss her presence around here.

Obviously she was one that helped start this site after the disaster at the old one. I never met her or had a real conversation with her but damn did I enjoy reading her posts. She is missed.
