Updating a previous report, the Baltimore Ravens have acquired CB Doug Dutch from the Washington Redskins for QB John Beck, reports Aaron Wilson, of NationalFootballPost.com.

CB Doug Dutch - Cut from the UFL

"After trying to make the Redskins 53-man roster or practice squad, Dutch was let go during the final cuts on September 5, 2009. Dutch then tried to make the Las Vegas Locomotives roster but was cut before the season started."

Really, someone who was cut from the UFL? Is this the team that's supposed to win the AFC North this year?

I know John Beck sucks but he can't be a worse backup than this UFL castoff

The best roster move they have made at CB so far this year was to put Foxworth on IR....he is terrible.

In Ozzie We Trust.

You might want to get him in pads and put him at corner.

We're in a whole lotta trouble now! There's also talk in Baltimore of resigning Frank "The Talker" Walker as well. What are we gonna do now?!? :sarcasm:

Well, gee, what would you like them to do? Sit and wait, and hope that Webb is 100% ready to go?

What would the Steelers do? Put a WR out on the secondary?

We would just hope and pray that Troy can do it all by himself.

Junk for junk trade as far as I'm concerned. Anyone remember how awful Beck was with Miami?

drafting a cb might have been a good start .

you do realize as bad as their cornerbacks have been the last few years, they have drafted exactly 1 cb in the last 4 drafts .

The Ravens haven't had a decent secondary for a few years. Only now it's causing more problems because they haven't had the pass rush that they used to.
