Looks like we've got a new lead rusher... for what it's worth he'll really hit the holes.
After all the speculation about the health of Ahmad Bradshaw, the Steelers have signed HB Peyton Hillis to a 3 year contract worth $8.2mm with just under half of that guaranteed.
“We are happy that Peyton decided to join us,” coach Mike Tomlin said. “Peyton is a big, strong, physical back with a lot of talent and he should fit into our system well. We are looking forward to working with him and adding him into our offense.”
Pittsburgh could serve as a fresh start for Hillis, who had a drama- and injury-filled second year in Cleveland after rushing for 1,177 yards in 2010, and then never had much opportunity to break out with Kansas City last season.
