After saying he wouldn't hold out? Real classy :sarcasm:

Whatever. Let him rot. Don't trade him. Don't give in. Don't pay him. He chose to ruin his career... so be it.

Interesting point on Revis situation. RT @AdamNYR (https://twitter.com/AdamNYR): OK, best CB in league, but he held out to get THIS deal when drafted. 5 minutes ago (https://twitter.com/Adam_Schefter/status/20089935423) via ÜberTwitter (http://www.ubertwitter.com/bb/download.php)

so if i'm the jets, i'd have to be thinking , if we do cave in, whats to keep this assclown from throwing another fit in 2 or 3 years because someone got a bigger deal.
i wouldn't give this greedy fuck an extra nickle a week... these guys should be ashamed of themselves for acting the way they do considering how people are losing their jobs and holmes these days. do they really expect people to sympathize for them ?

Revis probably regrets taking such a long deal now. But hey, he held out for it.

That's the sad thing, they do expect normal people like you and I to sympathize with them. They live in a dream world.

Didn't he get the memo that the Jets were supposed to be going to the Super Bowl this season? Shouldn't he be in camp to get his Paper Tiger Ring?

ha ha

Will Rex pimp him as the best player in the world now?

His calculated gamble: By not showing to camp, Jets CB Darrelle Revis lost the guarantee on $20 million worth of salaries in 2011 and 2012.

So, anyone else still wishing we drafted him?

he became an assclown as soon as he turned down a $100million dollar contract offer.

Exactly, he is due $1 million this year and I'm supposed to feel bad for a guy who is playing a game that not only is paying him ridiculous money but also gave him a FREE education.

They'll still make him one of the major story lines because of his holdout. They did the same thing with Andre Smith last year. They only help to feed these attention-whoring beasts.

When does HBO start airing Hard Knocks? I really enjoy getting an inside look at different teams training camps.

The education isn't jack shit for most of these guys. They barely skate by and many end up with no degree in the end.

I agree with you maybe I should have worded it differently to, "he had a chance at a free education."
