Today, as Garrett Webster watches the Super Bowl, memories of his father will run through his mind. He will reflect on his dad’s life’s work as a football player, a Hall of Famer who starred on many of the greatest teams in Steelers history. He will also reflect on what his dad meant to one of the NFL’s most important and controversial issues.
This week as San Francisco and Baltimore prepared to meet in Super Bowl XLVII, head trauma remained a hot topic in New Orleans. Sadly, Webster knows all about the damage a career in pro football can have on a player’s brain.............
