Gronkowski I understand, but am waiting to hear what the "injuries" are for the rest, besides being butthurt over the fact that they lost. Face it, chumps, you came in thinking it was a coronation, and instead you got simmmmoked on your home field.
Classless move by a classless organization, top to bottom. I bet even the janitor is a total dick.

Almost nobody. No player wants to play in the Pro Bowl anymore. No fans want to watch the Pro Bowl anymore. It's nothing more than a glamorized "flag football" game. A "pro bowl selection" should be a symbolic recognition at best from here out.

that is BS they should have to play if they where put there by "fans", but i really dont care for the game anymore, but it should be a honor, but when you are classless you do not care

They should just get rid of all of the all star games in sports, they can still have the players named as all pros or whatever but that's it, no game. The NFL pro bowl game is the biggest joke in sports especially since they moved it to the week before the Super Bowl and everyone sits out of it anyway.

I agree with most of that, but on the other hand, if you're a player getting paid millions of dollars for this, you ought to at least act like you care.
Plus the other element of it that most people don't think about is that for people who live in Hawaii, it's the only pro football game all year, and the only chance they get to see any of those players, fake game or not.
In any case, what kind of a dickhead do you have to be to turn down a free trip to Hawaii for you and your family, and all you have to do is spend an afternoon playing half-assed football. Just shows how far removed from the real world some of these guys are, which is also part of why it's classless.

When I was living in Hawaii - - - the Pro bowl was wonderful - - - - a terrible game, usually, but a great way to see some of the greats, and the Pro Bowl Experience and other activities during Pro Bowl Week were good fun.... It sure beat having to pay $500 plus for a ticket to the mainland and freezing my buns off to watch a game - - I did do that a couple of times in the 25 years that I lived there, though....
My son and his gang will be there, and I will be watching to see how many folks I recognize in the crowds..... And since this morning's wind chill factor here in Wisconsin was -30°, I will be watching with some envy, for sure.....
I will not, however, be watching the Super Bowl next week - - I want both teams to get into a big fight during the first quarter and everyone to get ejected from the game and nobody will win...... That would rate a huge asterisk!!!!!

I agree that while I'll be pulling for the 49ers to win over the Ratbirds, I'm definitely hoping to see a few fights.

Outside of a trip to Hawaii, I see no point of the Pro Bowl at all. It was a much better game 20 yrs ago. It's a JOKE now. That said, this little stunt by the Pats* players screams "butthurt."
Stay classy, there, Patsies *eye roll*

They have legitimate medical issues. The condition is called proctalgia.

It was probably more of coach's decision then the players.

Yeah, remember when the players used to actually like going to the Pro Bowl, and enjoyed playing in the game, so they actually tried to at least put on a show? What happened to that? Was there some point in time when it became automatic that if you were good enough to make the Pro Bowl, you had to be too cool for it? Or was it just a gradual dickening and sense of entitlement because the players are getting more and more spoiled?
