If Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Mike Wallace isn’t worth “Larry Fitzgerald” money, then how much should the free-agent-to-be get in a new contract?

He'll probably get Wes Welker's money, since that's where he's most likely headed.

If we do decide we want to keep him for another year, the franchise tag would be cheaper than any huge megadeals, but ... as Colbert says, we don't have too many franchise players.

dont care until we get keenan lewis and ramon foster locked up. Even then, some kind of crazy myriad of trades, cuts, etc. need to happen before we should even consider getting him back

When Colbert basically said he's "ready to shake up the roster" he could be laying the ground work -a.k.a. using code words- to make cuts to keep certain players... like Wallace.

We don't have many franchise coaches either, Kevin

Colbert has a ways to go. We NEED a strong draft.

Let him go, don't offer him a penny. He made it perfectly clear his prime motivation is money, not playing football
