Cardinals fans should hope that is not true. Don't let the good record fool you Andrew Luck carried the team not Arians and most of their wins were close games against bad teams

Bruce Arians has accepted four-year deal, with a team option for a fifth year, as head coach with Arizona Cardinals.

Well, they love our washed up players, may as well continue going after our former offensive coordinators.

Interesting. I remember reading Arians words on going to Indy. I would have thought that he had died and gone to heaven. Now he leaves one of the next great quarterbacks and a playoff team to go to a disaster in Arizona.

All the best Bruce.

They will probably hire the "Mustache" (Al Everest) for Special Teams. Ask Butler to become the DC and Omar Khan to be the GM.

Arians will probably try to get Redman, Starks, Foster, and every other free agent to go there.

Bidwill will claim he is a long lost "Rooney" cousin and try to claim the name.

He'll be fired before his first contract is up

I agree that there's a pretty good possibility of that happening.

It's hilarious how the Cards keep signing ex-Steeler coaches and players.

Best of luck to Arians. He's gonna need it.

His career just died. He should've stayed in Indy as the OC with Andrew Luck as his QB. Oh well, best of luck to him in his first "official" head coaching job.

I think I woke up in Bizarro World. If Hollywood made a movie, it would be too scripted. I would not be surprised to see the Cardinals take the old grass from Three Rivers and put it in the stadium. All they need now is a freakin' towel to wave.

In other breaking news, the Cardinals announced that they will have the logo on only one side of the helmet this fall.

For all those wondering who Bruce Arians will hire as DC, I'm sure first call was to Steelers LB coach Keith Butler.

How much longer is he really going to be coaching for? He's already 60 and I'm sure has always wanted to be a head coach. He's applied in the past and never got a shot. Now he is and who can blame him for it? Yeah, it's Arizona and it's kind of a mess there. So what? There are only 31 other people that do what you do. Talk about being on top.

The Steelers West continues........BTW...
Last month, Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians made it clear that he’s not going to take just any NFL coaching job, even though there are only 32 of them.

“I’m not just gonna run away to be a head coach, I’m not gonna do that,” Arians said. “I want to make sure they have a chance to win and see what the situation is, what city it is in.”

Guess he doesn't realize this was the single worst job available , WTF. Only thing I can figure is he wanted to retire in AZ anyhow, now he's got free relocation and cash. Congrats and Good luck proving Pittsburgh wrong.

Oh, and his up and coming underrated defense just lost their coach to be replaced by a 4-3 guy from philly.

Bad move for Arians IMO. Stay with the Colts one more year, find a better HC opportunity. Lol...

I agree with everything you said. That statement that he made makes this look even worse because by taking this job he did exactly what he said he wouldn't do.

The Cardinals have only one weapon on offense and the guy responsible for making their defense decent is now gone. Add in the fact that every other team in their division is improving and you have the last place team for years to come.

Without a franchise QB in place to carry him and make him look better than he really is, Arians is screwed
