The Steelers (http://triblive.com/sports/steelers/) were aware they couldn‘t officially waive running back Chris Rainey for three more weeks when they cut him last week, but general manager Kevin Colbert said Wednesday that wouldn‘t have influenced a decision they felt had to be made immediately.

“That decision has been made,” Colbert said during an interview with a small group of reporters. “He had lost the trust of the organization.” ............

Well, sounds like he ain't coming back. Also interesting what he had to say about some of the other players. Especially the backup QB and Starks, Hampton, Lewis, etc. I do not envy the tough decisions that guy has to make coming up.

cold-hard-steel with some cold-hard-facts , go home to mamma. To be serious i liked his potential. He is so young he has time to right the ship.Who knows we could be watching him reeking havoc on us.
