I like Notre Dame in football and I know Count does as well. Anyone else? Any Alabama fans?

What do you think of the game?

These 2 teams are VERY similar. I like the playmaking ability of our QB Golson, ie pulling a Big Ben and making "something" happen, more than McCarron. I like our defense more than theirs.

I am in the minority, even among ND fans, but I think we win. Not the dreaded saying "I think we can win", I think we are going to win.

20-13

It is the fitting end to an astounding season.

Te'o seals the deal with an INT at the Bama 44 yard line. 21-17 ND.

Notre Dame fan here. To all those doubting Notre Dame, we've been massive underdogs before and won

I'm pulling for Notre Dame, and I think they can do it. Al Abama got lucky against LSU and Georgia (they got completely outplayed but bonehead coaching by Miles & Richt bailed them out.) They lost to Texas A&M. The rest of their schedule was weak. They missed Florida and USC in the schedule rotation and their OOC schedule was loaded with creampuffs.

So everyone who says ND didn't play anyone or hasn't been tested should look at the other sideline. Oregon deserved to be in the game more than Bama.

Im a Pitt fan, but I'm so damn tired of hearing SEC this and SEC that, living down here drives me nuts. I hope ND puts a total ass whooping on Bama.

This half is uglier than the 2007 notre dame season (they went 3-9)

ND doesn't even belong on the same field as these guys. Pathetic game is pathetic.

Thought we would fare better... I was wrong.

Oh well ND doesnt pay players to go to the school like Al Abama and the other sec powers. Another title bought by a semi pro team.

College football isn't even fun anymore. It's just al-Abama loading up its schedule on cupcakes, letting the one or two legitimate teams on its schedule trip over themselves, losing a game, and then getting a mulligan.

I can't stand al-Abama. The only team I hate more is the Patriots*.

Great season ND. It's been a long time.

Bama was just too strong. Congrats to Saban and the boys.

Wow. ND didn't even bother showing up.

ND did show up. They were just exposed for being the team that they are by Bama.

That's one way of looking at it, I suppose.

Does it make a difference in that game if they call the muffed punt right and give us the ball inside the 30 when it was 7-0? Maybe. Horrible call. That call really took away our "mojo" if you will. But we still probably lose my alot. Maybe not though.

The way the offense played the entire night, I doubt they even score a TD on that drive. Besides, Alabama was far and away the better team and thoroughly trashed Notre Dame, I doubt the game is close even without that horrendous call
