Bengals player arrested one day before playoffs

FLORENCE, KY (FOX19) - A Cincinnati Bengals player was arrested on Friday, just one day before the first round of playoffs against the Houston Texans.

Police said Robert Sands, a safety currently on the injured list, was arrested in Florence for reportedly assaulting his wife at their home. It happened around 11 a.m.

According to authorities, Sands' wife was taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries..........
