No, I am sure Cowher prefers his job at CBS. If he was interested, I feel he would have come back earlier

As of now Rivera is safe until the new GM is hired. I personally have always liked him and hope he gets a chance to show what he can do. Maybe they need to run more of the Redskins and Seahawks offense. I havent watched any of their games so I dont know anything about them.

That win streak to end the season, and the promise it shows for next year, is enough to get him a 3rd year.
Even fans who were calling for his head when they were 3-9 or whatever are changing their mind.

Either Tim Ryan or Pat Kirwan on the NFLRadio show "Movin' the Chains" said that Cowher is never coming back. But, if he did I'm sure it would be for the Panthers. If he doesn't interview, he's done for life.
