It was nice to see a little thinking outside the box from the coaches yesterday. The best move was putting Legs at center and moving Pouncey to guard.

I hope they continue with the discipline and ball control. Much improved from the Cleveland game, but still room for improvement (cough Sanders cough).

True. But there was something telling about that fumble besides the fact that I've learned to never enter him into the county fair's greased pig contest. It came on account of him actually trying to protect the ball (ironically enough). He was switching the ball to the outside arm to keep away from the chase guy. So, while I agree there's lots of room for improvement here, at least he was thinking "ball control" and failed at execution, rather than a mental mistake of forgetting about it all together (cough running backs in Cleveland cough).

Agreed. Perhpas they have realized that the status quo was not cutting it.

I guess my question is why is Legursky only serviceable at center? Is it simply because of his experience at center and not having enough natural athleticism to wing it at a less familiar position?

I know we already fired Arians, but can we, like, call him up and remind him that he's still fired? :wink02:

Hmm. Why? cause we have better stats now? Oops, nevermind. We don't.

an old friend from my old " home" board used to say this about Bruce Arians

"Sure, he fits with Arians' offensive philosophy, but calling that a "philosophy" is like calling a list of ingredients a cake." ~Mongoose
