THE Epitome of the Steeler way right now. Does his job, makes the plays, always a great effort and no BS celebrations. He would fit right into the teams of the '70s.

Yea, Heath's a pure class act. Give's all he has every game, never complains, alway's does his job on the field, never celebrates a great catch/run, great with the other player's and a model player/citizen. Really PROUD that he wear's the Steeler uniform. The young player's could learn so much from him. I bet he's awesome to be around.

Game leader in yardage. A great safety valve and strategic option. He is polished and one of the top 5 players on the team.

I mentioned in a previous post that I 'currently' put Heath over the other WR's we have on the roster... ;)

If Ben keeps missing games Heath may end up as Steelers team MVP.

No matter how poorly everyone else might be playing, Heath is always in beast mode.

Beachum played a very good game, considering the circumstances. He had a rough preseason, but looks like he has done some work.

Thumbs up Beachum!

Actually Heaths numbers are not "up".

He had 290 yards in the first 6 games of the season and 321 in the last 6 games. Thats a 49.1 yard per game average at the beginning of the season and a 53.5 over the last half.

A 4.4 gain per game is pretty much a statistical tie. In fact...statistically...Heaths two worst recieving games were the last two games that Gilbert started.

Heath has been a godsend this year. One of the most consistent TE's in the game...and the best TE that I have ever seen on this team.

I thought so also...He has a pretty good kick slide but needs to keep his knees bent. Those time he was getting beat was when he was bending at the waist and got off balance. What I liked was that he seemed to be aware of it and made the correction.

I wasnt optimistic about him going into the game.....but was very pleasantly pleased by games end.

the story is he stays late and works on his technique which is awesome!!

Heath is one of the most reliable tight ends in the NFL today who doesn't get the credit. Not only can he catch the ball and move the chains, he can also block. When Heath retires, he will be the greatest tight end in Steelers' history and hopefully will find himself in the HOF one day.

Remember when Dick LeBeau was coaching the Bengals and he used to give Cowher a candy bar when they met in the pregame, Tomlin needs to get one of these and give it to Harbaugh when they meet next time.

I mentioned this on another board that on every highlight CBS showed for a Steelers pass play, Heath was open EVERY time. He could have had 10+ catches yesterday had Batch been looking his way on several plays.
