I had a few horrible moments Monday night watching Byron get all woozy after getting hit......holy crap what if both our QB's were knocked out of the game? Hines is gone....not that I ever really wanted to see him step in as emergency QB....but what if??????

Antonio Brown says on his radio show tonite that Heath Miller would have been QB if B Leftwich got hurt vs KC. That's a big Heeeeeeath!!

Heath? That surprises me. Not saying I would have wanted it to happen, but it would have been pretty awesome seeing Heath come out there under center.

Until he turned around and handed the ball off 16 straight times... Haha.

Could he throw the ball to himself?

Not sure if thsts true. Cotchery was the emergency QB and that was filed with the league.

Earl's about as big as Ben. Just put #7 on him and let him "dink and dunk".

Heath could have turned out to be pretty awesome...think about it, center to Heath and he runs for 10 yrds. Or, center to Heath and he hands off to Dwyer. No passing, just constant running and hammering. On the rainy evening Monday was, might have been a good game to watch with us pounding the ball down their throat and up their ass. Could be a good game plan for Sunday night versus the rats.

I'd like to see Heath attempt a few passes. :chuckle:

Absolutely me too!

If Lefty goes down I wanna see Heath slinging the ball around!

It's funny that there are so many conflicting reports of who was actually the emergency guy. NFL, ESPN and Tunch said Cotchery, Brown says Miller and Bouchette said Sanders.

Which poses the question, which of the three gives the Steelers the best chance to win if you had they been called upon...???

It's a fun question to think about.

Unless one of those three has an NFL arm (there are guys with hidden QB-caliber arms), I think I would just go with the most athletic. So probably Sanders.

Heath Miller was a two-time all-state high school quarterback in Richmond, Va., and originally signed with Virginia to play that position. He switched to tight end as a freshman and has played there ever since.

Heath doesn't want any of Coach Haley's wrath. :chuckle:

That would actually be funny if Haley and Miller went at it...

Maybe Heath would look down at Haley and say this to him:
