So want to come up with something a little unique for my son for Xmas - we got the bike back in August bit it needed a bit of "fix up". I wanted to do something special for this one (only a kid once don't you know) and have come up with this...

Now please excuse the rough mock-up - the front and rear fenders will be black as shown in the side pics (not yellow as in the main pic) and I want to put the Steeler Logo on the front fender turned so it faces forward not sideways and have an idea for the front numberplate but not quite there yet. I also want to put decals on the front forks but haven't found suitable ones on ebay yet (thinking of something that looks like a pennant)

Anyone like, comment or recommend anything different? (remember this is for a 7 year old boy)

That looks AWESOME!

How about you make one for me and ship it here to Pittsburgh? Haha I want one! That would certainly be a gift I would have remembered forever as a kid.

I think youri dea about something that looks like a pennant on the front would look great.

You'll have to stop back and let us know how the reaction was.

Yeah, I was thinking to paint the frame black, just hard for me to do in a mock-up. I ordered the plastics and decals this morning...will post pics when all done up.

As for making one for you Seven...I can do that but it will cost you about the equivalent to 4 tickets in the lower bowl to a Steelers/Ravens game :) That little bike goes like a bat outta hell. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8obBCdTk0VU

Yeah, its hiding in the shed until Xmas eve, so got water, mud and snow on it getting it in there, will be all shined up for Tuesday morning. And he is a steelers fan for sure...

The big red one is mine to keep up with him, and the little red PW50 is his beginner bike.

You did a hell of a job my friend, I'm sure he'll be pumped and showboatin' to his friends. A lucky youngster to have you for the dad.

Now you just need a black helmet with a Steelers logo on one side to simulate a game helmet.

So, time has come for my son to give up this bike (he has outgrown it)...anyone know anybody that would like such a bike for their boy (or girl)? Would like $1000 for it and I can deliver anywhere between Detroit to Buffalo to Pittsburgh triangle.
