Simple question, did the Steelers overpay Antonio Brown, and or is he living up to his current contract?

No way. At the current pay scale of WRs in the NFL, he is a bargain. He is not only a WR, he is a leader. For this kid, only in his 3rd year, winning MVP last year, Voted by his teammates.

Seriously Zu? Or do you just have election hangover?

He is clutch and has great hands. Both sides got a great deal.

Believe it or not there's two regular posters who have tried to make the point that the Steelers overpayed Antonio. So I thought if there was two maybe there's more, so I ran it up the flag pole, even though I think the idea is absurd.

AB was a good deal for both sides. Now if he just stops the show boating, I'll be ecstatic.

Brown was a great deal for the Steelers.

I think they should lock up Sanders ASAP as well. I think he is a very good 2-3 receiver and would be very cheap right now I would imagine.

No way. He's a great fit for this team and that deal is a pretty good bargain all things considered.

No. He's a solid WR and he's paid like one. Right now they have him at a bargain. Towards the end of the deal, maybe you can ask that question and it would be more debatable? He's a better receiver in my opinion than a Pierre Garçon...who is paid a lot more.

The Top 40-50 WR salaries in the league (starting at #40) for 2012 are: Matt Willis, Calvin Johnson, Harry Douglas, Marques Colston, Mario Manningham, Ted Ginn Jr., Miles Austin, Julio Jones, Donald Driver, Brandon Gibson. I'd take Brown over all but 2 of those guys. Right now...he's a steal.
