WARNING: Easily a trap game for the Steelers!

I'm not sure of the extent of AB's injury, but losing him would be huge since he is a big key for the Steelers offense.

The Chiefs won't just lay down and take another loss, they are a struggling team, and are hungry for a huge win. I think the Steelers know how another win will bring them close to catching up with the Ratbirds.

My prediction is 27-10 Steelers!

I am always weary of the Steelers playing inferior teams and playing down to their level. This could be close

Chiefs at home on Monday night. Let's just keep playing desperate and let the chips fall where they may.

Keep working on the running game and getting the O Line to gel. D needs to keep improving. The front seven needs to stuff the run better and not have so many saves from the secondary.

Classic trap game, but being at home and on Monday night, and Haley's ex team, Steelers 34-Chiefs 10.

This is at home and it is Haley's ex. I'm sure he wants to show a thing or 2 on Monday night.

Steelers by right should win this game easily. The Chiefs are pathetic, they're at home and you know Todd Haley wants to crush his former team. But these are the Steelers, and as much as they showed true grit today, they can easily play like garbage next week. So I say they will win, but they will have to gut it out again.

Lay it all down on those fuckers Haley. Im going 28-17 Steelers, but closer than the score would indicate. Just the fact that its at home makes me feel a lot better about any upset potential.

Monday night......at HOME......KC isn't that good......I think the STEELER's put on a great show and win easily. Coach Tomlin isn't going to let the team look past KC and lose. Let Troy and everyone slightly hurt rest for Baltimore.

The Steelers seem to always play down to a weaker opponent.

24-23 Steelers

Agreed, but they rarely ever win games easily that they should.

Should be no problem as long as the refs do not spot the Chiefs two or three TDs.

Jamaal Charles is an absolute menace. Stop him 1st and dare them to throw. We can double cover Bowe if we have to. Although quite doubtful. If we can shutdown Eli with Cruz and Hicks, we should be able to take care of business against Cassel and Bowe. Emphasis on the word "should."

More reason for optimism: Crennel just stepped down with his defensive duties and gave them to some Gary Gibbs scrub instead. And one of their starting CB's Stanford Routt just got cut. Strange. But this is all just a recipe for disaster for the Chiefs. I honestly dont feel threatened because were at home and theres just an epic amount of turmoil going on for the Chiefs right now. If this were at arrowhead, id be scared.

In another year, I'd say it'll be a blowout. This year, we'll be battling their 4th quarter surge to stop a last second win. Chiefs are in turmoil, local rumor is they're going to clean house end of season from Pioli down, and it's not even being kept that quiet. They're talking about blacking out home games which I don't think has happened since I've lived here. Crennel gave up D-coordinator duties:

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/kansas-city-chiefs-romeo-crennel-removes-himself-defensive-coordinator-110512

I was surprised he got the gig in the first place, I think it's because he was so much better with player relationships than Haley. He's one of those coordinators who just can't win as a head coach.

It's going to be a lot closer than it should be, but I'll say Steelers 20-10.

im sorry but gary gibbs sucks ass. he was the guy running the saints joke of a defense before gregg williams who finally turned the saints from a running joke of defense to one of the better units in the league. Were gonna blow a hole in their ass.

If the game were in Arrowhead, I'd be having nightmares. But it's at Heinz, so it shouldn't be too bad, but it may be troublesome. The fact that the Chiefs are a bad team shows this.

What I'm really wondering is why the schedule-makers thought this would be a great MNF matchup.

The Chiefs were SUPPOSED to be a good team this year. Remember how they finished out last season? Many people picked them to make the playoffs this year.

As I said earlier, this SHOULD be an easy win. The Steeler's usually play good on Monday night, and at home is a plus. My only concern about this 'easy' game come's in 2 words........Oakland, Tennessee GO STEELER'S ( 7-1 would look nice--ugh)

Steelers should win easy if they stick to the run game and don't get too cute. It's VERY possible Haley tries to do too much here. He absolutely loathes Scott Pioli and would love to run up 50 points on these guys. If the offense can stay evenly paced and not come out with 20 straight pass attempts they will be fine. That defensive line of the Chiefs is made to run against.

On defense the DBs need to continue manhandling the receivers because Baldwin/Bowe don't like to be touched. Get those two frustrated and all that's left to do is takeaway the run.

Dwyer/Redman over 100 yards again.

Steelers 31 - Chiefs 3.

Even though I know it's a dirty trap game just because it's the Chiefs ticket prices are hilarious. 2 days ago I saw some in the upper section for $50 a piece which is crazy cheap for the Steelers, def. in prime time. So being the poor college kid I am I picked up a pair for me and my dad. Pumped to be going. My first this season and to give you guys some good luck or maybe a jinx ;) I am undefeated at Steelers game since 1995 believe it or not.

steelers 27
chiefs 20

steelers take a 10 - 0 lead in the first quarter. chiefs come back after lebeau goes soft, 13-10 steelers at half. steelers pull ahead 20-13 in the third. chiefs tie it in the 4th but ben leads us for the game winning td and the defense ends the game on a cassel interception. we have to sweat it out as usual. no gimmies for steeler fans.

I don't like Cassel, I think he is just plain bad. He is just as likely to throw a 50% completion followed by a 50% INT. Unless our defence lays down on us I don't think it will be a close game.
