Also per Tomlin: Clark will play Sunday as long as his tests go well, Woodley will be limited Thursday with hamstring, Troy and Gilbert WILL be out Sunday.

I was wondering if they were actually going to have the game on Sunday. New York got FUCKED UP yesterday. I don't think the place will be in any condition to hold a football game by the weekend.

In all reality they will just postpone it to maybe like a Tuesday night game if they get the place cleaned up in two days after Sunday. I remember them doing that a few years ago for a Sunday Eagles game.

That probably wouldn't be too bad for the Steelers as they play their following game Monday night in Pittsburgh. But the Giants would be screwed with a road game in Cincy coming off a Tuesday game.

League plans to proceed with Steelers-Giants at MetLife Stadium

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, plenty of questions will arise. For NFL fans (specifically Giants fans), the question is whether Sunday’s game against the Steelers will be able to be played in New Jersey.

The question isn’t the stadium but the ability of folks to get there. For now, the NFL doesn’t believe there will be any problems in that regard.

“We are going to prepare to play and will stay in close touch with public authorities,” NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told PFT via email, adding that the stadium appears to have not sustained any damage.

Seven years ago, the Giants picked up an extra home game after Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans. The game between the Giants and the Saints, which was supposed to be played at the Superdome, was played at the Meadowlands, with the Saints technically as the home team.

It’s unlikely that Sunday’s game would be moved to Heinz Field or some other location. And the league’s first option likely would be to shift the game to Monday night, if having an extra day would be the difference between being able to play and not play.

That would be bad though because it probably wouldn't be on tv. CBS would not be happy with that, they would lose a great game Sunday, but idk if they would put t on tuesday over whatever the heck is on cbs on tuesday nights, idk.

The networks will have election coverage on Tuesday so it would probably get televised by ESPN or the NFL Network.
