Great game. You can play it on your computer now, with updated rosters. Tecmo fans have a site dedicated to the game where you can get everything you need.

Tecmo Bowl? I was out of gaming for the most part by the time that came along. Really dating myself here, but this is the football game I grew up playing:

Tecmo Bowl? I was out of gaming for the most part by the time that came along. Really dating myself here, but this is the football game I grew up playing:

That would make sense considering Intellivision and Atari 2600 were going head-to-head back then...until Colecovision came on the scene and ticked their world...then there was the Atari 7800.

As for Tecmo Bowl...I spent hours upon hours upon hours upon hours playing that game. Then Super Tecmo came out and kept track if stats...man...

Yep. It was the Coleco one or the Mattel. They used to take them away in school. :heh:

Man, you guys are bringing back some memories. It's truly amazing how far video games have come. I used to love playing Atari football.

I had the Head to Head Football one. 2 people could play, but it was so small you were literally "head to head".
