When you have a target like 6-foot-4, 211-pound A.J. Green, you make sure you design plays to get him the ball.
The Cincinnati Bengals have a playbook full of ways to throw the ball downfield to the play-making receiver.

Then they have their own schoolyard play — toss it up and let Green come down with it.

It’s officially called a “shotgun 3-wide receiver fly,” but it also could be called “let the big guy go get it.”

Green is third in the NFL with an average of 104.7 receiving yards per game and leads the AFC with six touchdown catches. The second-year man out of Georgia has done most of his damage — this year and last — outside the right numbers and deep down the field........

Gotta say, I'm not looking forward to Ike covering Green all game. Could be a long game of completions and penalties.

Perhaps "hold-em Ike" should try trip wires and lassos this week. :chuckle: He should be benched if he picks up where he left off last week.
