Oh my god! Are you f***ing kidding me? Last thing this team needs is the one player playing at a high level getting injured.

The right ankle is the one he badly sprained last season.

Until next the end of the year when he says he actually severed his foot from the rest of his leg and Mike Tomlin says he knew nothing about it.

I'm actually surprised it hasn't happened already with the O'line this team fields.

Woodley - Hamstring - CHECK
Polamalu - Calf/Achilles - CHECK
Roethlisberger - Ankle/Foot - CHECK
Pouncey - Knee/Ankle - CHECK

Same story, different year.

Was Gilbert anywhere in the vicinity at the time of the injury?

 I was thinking the same thing except for Gilbert being injured.

You think Gilbert's powers of destruction are limited to the physical realm?

 This is how the idiots on nfl.com started their article about the Ben injury

It doesn't feel like an NFL season until we have some Ben Roethlisberger-related injury drama.

Time will tell how the Steelers will react to this in terms of the offensive gameplan.

If they come out with sandlot (Always looking for the big play, Lots of screens), it's going to be another long night for Benji.

If they go back to Haley's Original Plan (Quick Downfield Passing game), then they'll be fine.

This is just Ben's way of telling all of us that he is healthy and ready to play Sunday night. :chuckle:
