Report: Tim Tebow to get more playing time against the Texans

Fox Sports' Jay Glazer, who is a friend of Jets head coach Rex Ryan, is reporting that Tim Tebow will get more reps this week against the Houston Texans.

Glazer, says that "Tebow has gotten more practice time this week, which makes sense given the injuries to the receivers and the lack of a running game," via Pro Football Talk.

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News confirmed Glazer's report, saying "the Jets prepared all week to give Tim Tebow a larger role/more reps vs Texans tonight."

Glazer further explains in the latest edition of "Glazer's Edge."

Correct me if I'm wrong...isn't he pretty much in the same exact position at this point in the season last year with Denver? Came in Game 5 and rallied the Broncos against the Chargers and then fell a little short? started the following week after Fox pretty much said Fuck it...Tebow-mania 2 is about to launch on MNF!!
