Bad Weather, Sloppy Game, Good and Gutsy Eagles Team, Terrible Refs. Tough win over a Tough Philly Team without Polamalu for most of the game.

Offense wasn't great, but they did enough to win when we needed them the most. The Eagles D is pretty good and I knew they weren't going to have much success.

Defense has improved, didn't look too great in the 2nd Half, but the Eagles have been that kind of team so far this year.

The passing game of the Steelers had not had a good game, but the Eagles have a great pass defense

I'd take all ugly wins vs any loss.

2-2 is a damn sight better than 1-3. Especially if the Ravens keep eking out wins.

I'll take it. Could have gone better, but I'll take the win nonetheless.

No joke. If the Chiefs had a better quarterback than Matt Cassel under center, I'd say Ratbirds lose that game.

But solid effort by the Steelers today. Sloppy field/weather and they pulled it out. Good job to them.

I'll take it and let's gear up for Thursday. Troy will probably not play. Let's hope Clark is in there and not suspended.

Not a lot of time to dwell on the mess that was today...

I'm with ya' on this. It couldn't have been any uglier than the 1st quarter, and Willie needs to get his Shit together before Thursday Night's game!!!

Impressed with Timmons and RushHard today.

If they stopped turning the ball over they would have won today.

Like the thread title says....a win is a win. And 2-2 is way better than 1-3.

I'll take the W because in the NFL that's how you get into the postseason, no polls where if you don't score 30+ points you drop in the standings.

Time to focus on Thursday Night against the Titans.

I'll take the win also. I don't care if ugly or not.... "W" is all that counts. Bungholes loss....yea, it will be a good Monday ! It will be interesting to hear who the bunghole fans will blame.

The phrase not to "get preoccupied with style points" comes to mind from Tomlin in the '08 season.

I don't like the fact that our defense, once again, gave up a long drive in the fourth quarter . . . and the lead. However, they only gave up 14 points the entire game, though two TD's in the second half is worrisome.

2 TD on 3 drives for the eagles offense in 2nd half....

I hate to go against the grain here, but all wins are not equal. A win where we lose Troy and Woodley for possibly multiple games is not as good as it would be had that not happened. If we can win a road game without those two, then I'll be very surprised.

Still better then a loss and still loosing them.

Please keep in mind, The Eagles play ugly and make other teams play ugly, too. They beat the ratbirds by one point.

The Eagles join the 1932 Bears as only NFL teams to have 4 of 1st 5 games decided by 2 points or less.
