He is rapidly becoming one of my favorite Steelers, on and off the field. LaMarr has been interacting with fans on Facebook, running contests and giving away signed pictures, and asking trivia questions (he even answered me one day!) Today he announced that he's picking 11 facebook fans to be on a fantasy team with him. How cool is that!

It's refreshing to see a player interact so well with the fans........and I haven't once seen him tell a fan to go kill himself.

That's why I didn't care if the door hit Faneca in the ass or not. Regardless of how LaMar feels about the FO he is a fans player.Kudos.:clap2:

I agree, Stillers4me. I enjoy his facebook page also. He is uniquely interactive with his fans.

Love his fan page on facebook, he actually interacts with the fansvery well. Im going to try to get in that fantasy league.

speaking of Lamar, how's his contract negotiations. This makes me hope even more he gets signed to a long term deal

Faneca did a lot of charity work, and actually still does in Pittsburgh.

He was active in a foundation dedicated to providing funds for breast cancer research and another for epilepsy, just to name a few.

He was also picked for the team award for how he dealt with the media and for his contributions to the community during his tenure with the Steelers.

Makes me sad that people are still pissing on him.

I'm a big Woodley fan as well...only downside was that he went to Michigan...

I have a lot of confidence that the Steelers will get him under contract.

Yes! I was just talking about that with the wife...he's being really cool with everyone. I asked him if he and Santonio had been talking smack to each other, and he just replied "lol". Guess not.

He's caught nothing but shit from the moment he had a few bad days in the press when he was hurt because he realized that he was going to have to leave the team and city he loved.

He kicked ass on the field and off, and yet the majority of the fans threw that all away.
