Harrison, Polamalu, Mendenhall not on Steelers’ injury list

For the first time since training camp began, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ injury list doesn’t contain any Pro Bowl players.

Coach Mike Tomlin listed only right tackle Marcus Gilbert (groin) during his news conference Tuesday, omitting linebacker James Harrison (knee), safety Troy Polamalu (calf) and running back Rashard Mendenhall (knee). Neither Harrison nor Mendenhall has played since last season.

While Tomlin didn’t say all three would play Sunday against the Eagles – they still must get though a week of practice – he did sound optimistic that the Steelers would be virtually intact for the first time since the middle of last season. They played much of the second half of last season without injured outside linebackers Harrison (eye) and LaMarr Woodley (hamstring).
