Yep, this is probably his last year. Hate to say it. He's been one of my favorite players of all time but it's a business.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him go on IR, get the surgery, and give it one more shot next year. I believe IR saves us cap room this year, doesn't it? It's allow us to pick up someone else. I also wouldn't be surprised to see a renegotiation of his contract. This is his fourth year of a six year contract. A renegotiation would free up quite a bit of room helping us sign Wallace. It would also give us the opportunity to squeeze another year out of him next year, or maybe two more if his knee heals properly.

Remember, with Harrison, we're not looking for a loss of speed, which is troublesome at his age. We're looking for a loss of strength and drive, and he can keep that well into his late thirties.

You're right. It's only if they have a "split contract" does it show up. Just went back and looked at it.

It's either a pay cut or time to find a new pass rusher in next year's draft
