Raiders running back Darren McFadden has been busy out of the backfield, making 13 catches against the Chargers and 15 in two games. It’s running the ball that’s been the problem; he has 54 yards on 26 carries on a team that averages 2.0 yards per carry, lower even than the Steelers’ 2.6.

But McFadden is a former 1,000-yard rusher who needs 102 yards to surpass Bo Jackson on the team’s career rushing list, so containing him — and the Raiders’ across-the-board offensive speed — is a priority to Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau.
