Despite missing all of the offseason, Steelers receiver Mike Wallace hasn’t lost much of a step, finding the end zone each of the past two weeks.

Now he is ready for an even broader role in what has become an increasingly shorter Steelers passing attack, perhaps beginning as early as Sunday at O.co Coliseum against a retooled Oakland Raiders secondary.
“I’m excited about the opportunities we’re getting in the short passing game,” he said. “But I’m ready to turn it up a little bit.”

The Steelers are expected to fine-tune an efficient passing game that continues to evolve around their troika of fast, agile receivers: Wallace, Antonio Brown and Emmanuel Sanders...................
