Cornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke could be heading back to Oakland this week with revenge on his mind. He could be bitter and angry after being let go from the Raiders on Sept. 3, after they gave their former third-round draft pick just one season to prove himself.

I realize Van Dyke may be a long shot / long term project....

But.....sometimes great coaching, mentoring and patience CAN make the difference.

If any team can help Van Dyke realize his full potential it is the Pittsburgh Steelers imo.

Let's just hope this kid can prove himself. He would be a huge asset to the secondary if he could contribute some day. He's a project worth investing in time into, he was a beast in college!

Van Dyke has already earned his salary on special teams through 2 games. He has already 'panned out' for the Steelers.
