During the Jets game, Heath suffered some damage to his rib cartilage, but as we know finished the game and helped the Steelers add one to the win column. But today, Thursday, was the second day he sat out of practice. Yikes. Not good. With no indication of whether or not he will play Sunday against the Raiders, I think we have to consider for a moment the impact that is going to have. Let me rephrase that, the rather large and impactful impact that is going to have.........

Heath is an important, often taken for granted, but a very important piece of our offense. This is not good news, and here I thought we get out of the Jets game relatively intact. Shit.

I HOPE it's a minor injury  we need Heath.

If 3 few weeks was enough time for him to fully heal I would consider sitting him and leverage the bye.

If it isn't it will be a long season for Heath.

That would be a huge loss for the offense.

That sucks. Just when he was starting to have an amazing season. I hope he can practice today so he can have a chance.

Thank the Gods for the Early Bye Week.

I say rest him for this week. We should be able to do enough damage with our WRs since their corners are subpar. Notice I said should...

By week 8, the entire starting lineup will be sitting out practice

no panic!

Meanwhile, tight end Heath Miller returned to practice today and will play in Oakland. Miller missed practice Wednesday and Thursday with separated rib cartilage

That's not good Heath is a huge part of this offfense and, I Johnson & Pope can step up. Heath does so much for this team and, to me is the best all around TE in the game.

I say sit him, sit Harrison, and sit Troy for the Oakland game. Why risk future or season ending injury when we can give them an extra 2+ weeks of rest.

If a player can play, he must play

The Steelers want to be 2-1,not 1-2.......if the Steelers lose this game, the next two weeks will be very long!
