Fox 8 News in Cleveland reports the Browns defensive tackle called 911 on Thursday to report an erratic driver (http://www.fox8.com/news/wjw-news-cleveland-browns-shaun-rogers-helps-nab-dui,0,5215780.story) he saw on the road. Rogers stayed on the line and followed the car, which swerved off the road multiple times. Eventually it stopped in the middle of a busy highway with part of the car sticking out into traffic.

"Mr. Rogers positioned himself behind that vehicle and turned his emergency flashers on to notify other drivers that there was an emergency on the road, and I don't know what would've happened had he not done that," Middleburg Heights Police Chief John Maddox said.

Ultimately, 20-year-old John Nykiel was charged with a DUI and operating an unsafe vehicle.

"I thought his actions were above and beyond and I wanted to express to him as chief of police how much we appreciate what he did that night he helped keep Middleburg Heights safe," Maddox said.

Nice work, Shaun. Who says we never print positive stories?

So I guess this makes up for bringing a gun to an airport :ranger:

Yes I understand that, but it doesn't make me think he's a hero or even a great guy. The dude is still a fat piece of shit.

Once again, it proves that people are not all-good or all-bad. We don't live in a black and white world, though some people would have you believe that.

I commend him for what he did here because he did potentially save a lot of lives, however, he's still a dumbass for trying to bring a loaded gun onto a plane.

Well I thank him for what he did because it was the right thing to do and he could have even saved innocent lives.

Would you say that if he played for the Steelers?

If he was that stupid then yes I would. Plaxico was a dumb ass as well. They are stupid players on every team and if they don't have more sense then that then I don't care who they play for.
