The Pittsburgh Steelers recently worked out free-agent CBs Dominique Franks (Falcons), Terrence Johnson (Colts) and Akwasi Owusu-Ansah (Cowboys).

Not surprising they are seeing whats out there after all the cuts. Franks or Owusu-Ansah could be interesting pick ups...if they have the room (DD going to the new IR or something).

Hmmmm....Akwasi Owusu-Ansah is an interesting prospect. He was drafted as a CB but was moved to FS in the pros. He is about 6'0 210 lbs, has long arms and ran a 4.32 at the combine and a 4.33 at his proday. I know he has battled some shoulder issued that have led him to be shuffled from one practice squad to another with minimal playing time, and that he played DII, but he is still young and you can coach everything but speed...sooooooo?



Dominique Franks is also an interesting prospect with more playing time under his belt than Owusu-Ansah and he also possesses very good speed....4.46 forty....It looks intitially as if he was a victim of the numbers game with Dunta Robinson and Asante Samuel ahead of him on the roster.
