NFL history has proved when a place kicker misses a kick in a playoff game or Super Bowl usually means the end for him is near. Vanderdrunk in Indy, Norwood in Buffalo just to name a few.

Aw damn, he was my favorite Raven ever! :chuckle:

Seriously all I have to do is mention his name to get a rise out of some of my Raven fan friends. Not that I would do such a thing. :heh:

Funny, could have sworn Harbaugh said after the AFC Championship game, the Ravens were going to keep him...

Wouldn't Cundiff be an upgrade over Suisham?

Couldnt hurt. He's the best at touchbacks, something Suisham doesnt seem great at, and a capable kicker. hmm :)

Career field goal percentages, Suisham is just a little better.

Cundiff: 132 of 172 - 76.7%
Suisham 124 of 156 - 79.5%

Suisham 124 of 156 - 79.5%

id rather look at more obscure/specific statistics like 4th quarter/OT field goal percentages, or lead changing/tying field goals in the 4th quarter/OT. I dont remember if Cundiff has a long history of shanking important kicks, but Suisham sure does going way back with the Cowboys and Redskins.

Cundiff is vastly superior in kickoffs, that's for sure
