PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger joins Vinnie & Cook for a live exclusive interview on Sportsradio 93-7 The Fan.

Ben sheds some light on how the offense is coming together under new offensive coordinator Todd Haley, and shares his excitement about the young offensive line. Ben says it feels weird that he is the elder statesman of the offense, but says he enjoys watching the young guys grow and mature.

Ben misses having Mike Wallace in camp, but he knows Wallace is working hard and will show up in shape and ready to go.

Ben also has a message to Steeler fans who think the offense won’t miss a bit without Wallace. He also reacts to Plaxico Burress possibly returning to Pittsburgh.

Ben's always been a fan of Burress. And of course he wants a proven commodity like Wallace to come back.

Got confidence we should hear something from Wallace around the 2nd pre-season game...hopefully.

I'm sure the FO has a handle on the situation and they do not need disruption in the locker room.

Wallace comes on the Steelers terms or he is gone. Burress would be an emergency stop gap at best.

I'm still hoping one of Clemons or Maze begins to excel and proves worthy to be on the squad, even though a little green.

Had some hopes in Clemons, but what i hear from camp doesn't sound good... Every day reports about multiple drops, can't see him anywhere else than the practice squad for now. But we'll see how he looks in the preseason games

I would be cool if we got Plax back; after all, he started out as a Steelers. The Steelers drafted him in the 1st round of the 2000 draft and he delivered the final blow to end the undefeated streak of the Patriots in the SB. If he made it back onto the team I wouldn't complain one bit. Mike Wallace, Plaxico Burress, Brown, Sanders and Jericho C. is a dream team at the WR position.

Why?

Does Ben make personnel decisions now?

More selective memory. Ben is an idiot when he lobbies for Arians, but a genius when he lobbies for Plexispike.

Nope Ben isnt a idiot, but Arians had to move on (like it or not) and plax burned his bridges leaving the burgh.

Idiot? No, just poor judgment when it comes to personnel decisions/changes.
