LaMarr Woodley will be re-signed once the time is right.
The Pittsburgh Steelers aren’t going to let linebacker LaMarr Woodley just walk away after the season.
Woodley is entering the final year of a four-year deal with the team, but the Steelers want to keep him around longer.
However, like the other 31 teams around the league, the team cannot act right now because of the labor agreement being up in the air according to Michael Lombardi of NFL.com.
Woodley will earn a base salary of $550,000 this season.
We previously reported that re-signing Woodley was the Steelers’ top priority. They will do just just that once they are not hamstrung by the “30 percent” rule.
