Training camps are open and free agent receiver Plaxico Burress remains unsigned, and Burress is baffled by that.

Burress told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that he expected to have contract offers as soon as free agency started, and he assumed that in late July he’d be in camp with some NFL team.

He's old and can't get separation from defenders. Not hard to figure at all.

He isn't what he once was. Even when he was a Steeler, he was good, but never great. I'll never forget the time he caught the ball and thinking the play was over, spiked the ball which resulted in a turnover.

^lol...Does he realize that he needs to prove himself all over again I mean last season with the Jets did nothing for him.

He did help with their red zone scoring and may have led in receiving yards, but I'm not one hundred percent sure about that.

Just Imagine if he would of kept his mouth shut last year or he would of signed with us. Look at the mirror Plax, theres the reason why you havent been signed.

45 rec 612 yards 8 tds

He says he is willing to take on a backup role and reports are he's in great shape. I'm kinda torn on this. I do understand why teams would be hesitant to pick him up, then again I can also say ahh why not? hes a decent redzone target.

With the Jets trying a DB at WR I would think they would try to get him back :noidea:
