Steelers (http://www.steelersuniverse.com/nfl/teams/page/PIT/pittsburgh-steelers) rookie Alameda Ta'amu (http://www.steelersuniverse.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1632002/alameda-taamu) sat out the first training camp practice of his NFL career due to a what he described as a bruised foot.

Did he injure it during a pass-rushing drill? During a conditioning run? While in the weight room working out?
"Just went on a long walk to Wal-Mart," the 348-pound nose tackle said........

By all indications, Ta'amu had two productive practice days, too. His size and strength stood out in passing-rushing drills in which he consistently pushed center Doug Legursky back into the backfield.

Apparently, some of the veterans told him it was only a mile to the Wal-Mart, when his GPS said it was three. Why they made him walk to Wal-Mart isn't even explained. Poorly written article.

That's what I was thinking...were the veterans sending him on a Wal Mart run for toiletries or something? Yeah, this was a pretty bad article. Prolly some intern wrote it.
