The Steelers are expected to transition rather easily from one of the oldest teams in the NFL to one with several young players who will affect the teamís hopes of making another playoff run.
Of course, the key to the teamís success or failure depends largely on how well coach Mike Tomlin manages his personnel, including the teamís top draft picks ó offensive linemen David DeCastro and Mike Adams.
Steelers president Art Rooney II is convinced Tomlin is the man for the long haul. So he inked the 40-year-old to a three-year contract extension through the 2016 season..............

............."I hope as long as Iím here, heís here,Ē said second-year defensive end Cameron Heyward, last yearís No. 1 draft pick. ďIím going to work at getting my extension.Ē.............
