NFL Star Marshawn Lynch Arrested For Suspected DUI

Seattle Seahawks star and Bay-Area hometown hero Marshawn Lynch was arrested Saturday in Oakland for allegedly driving under the influence, according to the Alameda County Sheriff's Office.

Oakland-native Lynch, 26, who two days earlier presented a scholarship to an Oakland gunshot victim, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol and booked at the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin, said Sgt. Ray Kelly of the sheriff's department.

County records indicate he was cited for the charges and released on Sunday.

These players are out of control, maybe the nflpa should focus on keeping their players out of trouble instead of just trying to get suspensions and sentences reduced.

An athlete is getting picked up for a DUI almost every night now. Jason Kidd just got one a few nights ago too.

This is beyond ridiculus. There are no excuses and I don't care how "fine" you think you are. If you drink, you do NOT drive. Period.
