Harvin said yesterday he had several issues with the team. League sources say Harvin has requested a trade, but doubtful it's granted.

Makes sense; I would've requested a trade from the Vikings too.

The 2009 Miracle Year with Favre was the last gasp of that core of Vikings. They didn't win that year and sure enough they dropped off soon after.

In the same division with the Packers and Bears, at best they will be 3rd and never get to the playoffs.

Source: Harvin isn’t unhappy with his contract

In expressing his unhappiness with the Vikings, receiver Percy Harvin has yet to utter the one phrase that always confirms it’s about the money. Specifically, he hasn’t said, “It’s not about the money.”

So maybe it’s really not about the money.

According to a source with knowledge of the situation, it actually isn’t about the money. While the reason(s) of Harvin’s unhappiness remain unknown, the source explains that Harvin does not want traded because he wants a new deal.

They will finish 4th this season, IMO the Lions are better than the Vikes :noidea:

Harvin has been nothing but a headache for the Vikings since he got to Minnesota (no migraine-pun intended). Actually, he's been trouble for that team since before he even got there. He's one hell of a weapon, but for how often he is on the field and how many issues he causes I don't know that I'd want him on my team.
