We've had a little fun the last two months with all the over-analysis of the Mark Sanchez-Tim Tebow "battle" during the New York Jets' OTA season.

So we may as well cap things off with one final breakdown.

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News has your final New York Jets minicamp stats. Sanchez got all the starter snaps.

Manish Mehta @TheJetsStream

Final mini-camp stats: Mark Sanchez went 10 for 27 (37%) in 49 first-tm snaps. Tim Tebow went 11 for 17 (64.7%) w/1 fumble in 30 snaps #nyj

Hmmm. We're really trying not to draw any conclusions from this. Still trying. Still .... eh, forget it.

No matter what Rex Ryan says publicly, the fact his first-team offense completed less than 40% of its passes when the team wasn't even in pads is going to drive the offensive coaches crazy. That's the type of trend that could create a real quarterback competition in August.

And with that, our Jets over-analysis series will take the next six weeks off. Rest up.

Suckitis? Nah, he already had an acute case of that.

Suckitis? Nah, he already had an acute case of that.

Well that could have easily been caught from Tebow as well.

Or Rex Ryan of course. :chuckle:

The Jets will be a less than 9-win team for the forecoming future. What a circus.

Looks like the 'Tebow bench motivator' strategy didn't work out. Another season of controversy and salivating ESPN pundits...

More drama in Jets' TC than on Broadway.

I honestly would be worried if I were a Jets fan.

To be fair, sanchez isnt going up against a pattycake defense. But thats not excuse to suck it up in a padless session. LOL

Sanchez is garbage and Tebow won't help the Jets either.

I mean, just look at their division.

The Patriots defense might not be all that good right now, but they should improve with all of these top draft picks being used on that side of the ball. However, they have a high-octane offense that'll outscore the Jets with either QB under center.

The Dolphins defense is mediocre, but they had 41 sacks last season. You sack Sanchez and he'll fold like a metal folding chair. Tebow's release is slow, so he'll be susceptible to fumbles.

The Bills just signed Mario Williams, if he can stay healthy he will be good for 12-15 sacks a season if not more.

I don't see the Jets being better than 8-8 this season.

Will Tebow take over the starting gig in September or October?

3 years of them running their fat mouths, and Karma is coming at them like a Freight Train. Just sit back and watch.

Normal Tebow drama is annoying, but in the context of watching the Jets organization implode it's like a Die Hard marathon.
