We're continuing our series in which we feature one player from each AFC North team who is "On the spot" leading up to the NFL draft. That's a player who is holding a starting job now, but could lose it depending on how his team drafts.

Keenan Lewis (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/12683/keenan-lewis), Steelers cornerback

Lewis
Who he's replacing: William Gay (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/10613/william-gay), an unrestricted free agent who signed with the Arizona Cardinals (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/ari/arizona-cardinals). Last season, Gay started 15 games for the Steelers and finished the regular season with 56 tackles -- 45 solo -- with two interceptions.

NFL résumé: Lewis was a 2009 third-round pick for the Pittsburgh Steelers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/pit/pittsburgh-steelers) out of Oregon State, and has made only one career NFL start. Last year, he showed that he can be a playmaker, sealing a 13-9 victory at Kansas City with a leaping interception with 28 seconds remaining. But he has also been undisciplined, getting benched by coach Mike Tomlin in the 2010 preseason after he gave up an eight-yard catch to Brandon Lloyd (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/4582/brandon-lloyd) and then proceeded to knee him.

Lol. That's rather funny. If Lewis loses the starting job it won't be to a rookie. I don't care if we trade up for Stephon Gilmore. The only threats to Lewis' starting job are Cortez Allen and Curtis Brown. I can't see any way the team would ever start a rookie at corner barring injury.

I agree, its gonna be a camp battle between those 3 on the roster to see who starts.

I was high on Lewis in the draft 3 years ago and hope he proves his worth this season by starting and doing well.

I like Lewis too and want him to succeed, but I like Cortez Allen even more. I'd love to see that guy win it in camp. Especially after reading this article:
