With Steelers restricted free-agent wide receiver Mike Wallace facing a Friday deadline to sign an offer sheet with another team, it now is expected that he will return to Pittsburgh for the 2012 season, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Collusion by owners or Mike has unrealistic financial expectations. The market has decided, much like it has for Dennis Dixon and TO.

Don't think he would be afraid to bench him. Steelers have looked at quite a few WR invitees.

Indeed we have ... My favorite prospect in that position so far has been T.Y. Hilton @FAU

Well that's bad news. I was hoping someone would take him.

Well that's bad news. I was hoping someone would take him.He still may be trade-able. I wonder if the Steelers know if any teams approached him or not. If he garnered no interest, then his agent royally screwed him. If he finished his last year strong, he would be in a different position. If he doesn't add another trick to his arsenal soon, he will fade away.

I think there's only one number that matters to Wallace and his agent right now ... 328 more days until the start of free agency.
