Former Eagles, Redskins and Vikings quarterback Donovan McNabb made another appearance on ESPN First Take on Friday, and just as he did on Thursday by questioning whether Robert Griffin III can fit with the Redskins, McNabb made a comment that will surely raise eyebrows.

At his best, he was a choker who couldn't handle the biggest moments, at his worst he has been utterly atrocious

McNabb had his chances to silence his critics, and he couldn't do it. Just like Randall Cunningham a generation before him. Funny how both of them played for Philly and Minnesota.

Face It Donovan, you're going down in history as a choke artist who couldn't seal the deal. Losing 4 NFC Championship Games and famously throwing up in the only Super Bowl you've been in (and lost) doesn't sit well on anyone's record. I always felt McNabb never took his job and his position seriously and was too much of a goofball. As evidenced by his OT gaffe.

This is coming from the guy who said black quarterbacks have it harder. Always the victim

I liked the guy as a QB, never a superstar but a pretty good one, but he's one big baby

I hear the Ravens need a backup. Match made in heaven if you ask me.

I've been around Donovan several times for work purposes. Enough that if we ever ran into each other he wouldn't be like "Who the hell are you?". So I feel fairly comfortable saying he's a really good guy. Better than he gets credit for. But he certainly has a warped view of his status as a football player. I've heard him several times refer to himself as an all time great. I guess if you've experienced as much success in the league as he has, you might think you're the best of the best too. I can't blame the guy for thinking it, but he shouldn't say things like this to the media and not expect backlash. I can think of several quarterbacks who have been more unfairly criticized over the years. Some who are currently playing.

Let's not laugh too hard. Ben stuck up for D-Mac and said he didn't know the rule either.
