Second-place Carl Edwards credits help from Kasey Kahne's Richard Petty team for boost

Edwards’ No. 99 Roush team has used some parts that Kahne’s team liked

Kenny Francis is very good at what he does,” Edwards said. “Their team has been helping us. This week, they helped us quite a bit. It paid off.

“Right up to the driver intros, I was talking to Kasey about his car, what we thought our cars were going to do, how they worked in practice. … Those parts and that help from Kenny Francis, that’s probably what really made the difference tonight for us.”

Wonder what "parts" he's talking about.

JJ didn't have the best of days but he'll bounce right on back - he always does.

Jeff had a decent day finishing 3rd and I WILL TAKE THAT. :heh:

I don't think a lot of people have noticed, because he hasn't had a win yet. Gordon is having a hell of a year and could very well end up back on top. My boy Burton is doing pretty well also, and could have have a couple of wins but for a few dumb mistakes.

You're right - Jeff is having a damned good year and I'm not counting him or Jimmie out winning it all.

If my Jeff can't win it, I hope yours does.
