In the first few days of free agency, all the attention has been on the teams that have been busiest, like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Washington Redskins and Chicago Bears. But there are also plenty of teams not making moves. Which team is dropping the ball so far in free agency?

Best teams don't need to go bonkers early in free agency
I'll take the contrarian view on this one and applaud some of the teams that aren't diving into the market. The Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers never go nuts this time of year, for good reason. Prices quickly inflate and free agents often underperform.
Waiting for the market to deflate and then scooping up selective free agents on one-year, prove-it contracts can be wise if your scouting department is strong. (Think San Francisco with Alex Smith and Carlos Rogers a year ago.)
The best teams don't need to go bonkers on the first three days the market opens and the very best deals are generally those that secure proven talent to an existing team -- like the extensions given Calvin Johnson and Trent Cole.

Redskins, as usual making themselves the jackasses of the offseason.

They have yet to make a move I really like. I think the Josh Morgan signing can work out, but I tend to think Pierre Garcon's production has been something of a mirage. Time would have been better served pursuing a true number one guy as opposed to signing two players who are more complimentary options.

Josh Morgan signing was good. But they still don't have a true #1...

Garcon has hands like Nate Washington and Ike.

Every time I got the chance to watch a Colts game last season, Garcon dropped at least one ball.
Here is why he has looked good in the past:
1. He had Peyton Manning throwing to him, and Manning can do more with less just about as good as Tom Brady has done in his career.
2. He had Reggie Wayne on the other side of him, and Wayne was pretty damn good and often left Garcon in single coverage because the other team had to spend more attention to Wayne.
I am not saying he's a bad receiver, because there damn sure are worse. However, he's not a #1 receiver IMHO and luckily there is an opt-out clause after two years if it's not working out. I think he's great for a #2 receiver, but not a #1. I expected the Redskins to be going after Vincent Jackson, however he might have had no interest in even going there and we'll never know.

Agreed Washington didn't make a truly foolish move this off season, which is rare, but I believe they gave Garcon #1 money for a guy I don't think will preform like a #1. When was the last time Wash really had a true #1 WR?

Santana Moss used to be a #1 receiver, but now he's a #2 maybe a #3 receiver.

I never felt like Santana Moss was a true #1. He always seemed like a small complimentary WR.
