Some of you in Steelers Nation are probably still in shock over Tim Tebow's 80-yard touchdown pass in overtime to Demaryius Thomas, which abruptly ended Pittsburgh' season in a wild-card playoff loss in Denver.

But Steelers coach Mike Tomlin wasn't surprised. He actually predicted that could happen the night before the playoff game, according to CBS broadcaster Jim Nantz.

That's always been the problem with controlling the clock, running the ball, playing good defense, and being conservative: Even the worst NFL QB in history can get lucky and beat you on one play.

Actually no, since Tomlin expressed this concern to Nantz BEFORE the game was even played.

This is simply schadenfreude on Hensley's part, since he's an obvious Ravens homer and he's just trying to rub salt in the wounds. Well, at least Tomlin didn't get any Gatorade showers for what eventually turned out to be meaningless regular season wins.

Hey Jamison, when's the Ravens' ring ceremony for sweeping the Steelers?

Jackass.

My only question is why didn't Tomlin express this same fear to defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau? If you remember, the winning touchdown was scored off a run-stopping formation.

Tomlin's concern was that someone was going to screw up an assignment that would lead to a big play. What is Tomlin supposed to tell LeBeau, "Make sure no one screws up."

I'm pretty sure LeBeau already knew that.

Three or four years down the road or so when Tebow is firmly entrenched in his new career at State Farm/Allstate/Geico/Nationwide, he'll look back fondly on January 8, 2012 as a day when the Lord really did work a miracle in his favor by making him actually look like a credible NFL QB...

I love ya FS,

But I'm going to laugh my rear-end off if Lefty can't go this year and Batch is let go -

Hello Backup QB Tim Tebow - a late addition to the Steelers team.

It is unfortunate that the steelers were awful in 2nd quarter! The Broncos have dominated 20-0 in 2nd quarter.

The Steelers have not given up, but they have not been able to overcome the dreadful 2nd quarter.

I'm willing to bet Baltimore fans are still in shock coming up empty after having everything (And I mean EVERYTHING) go their way last year. Write up an article about the Drop and Wide Left.

Crazier things have happened in the NFL.

So do I....oh wait, I meant Jamison Hensley.

I know a blog is more your opinion than it is actual reporting...but can someone tell this fucking jackass that he's no longer the Ravens' beat reporter for the Baltimore Sun? This guy's such a fucking joke, he needs to go drown in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore.

Wow. That was a scary accurate prediction. Much respect for Tomlin for respecting the broncos passing attack when no one else really did

And the Steelers, who were in that situation practically all season, avoided it until it counted...

It should have never came down to one big play. The Steelers should have easily killed the Broncos. You should never lose to a team without a QB. It was another classic example of the Steelers playing down to their opponent...again.

Remember that this is not easy to win on the road in the playoffs.

The biggest reason why the Steelers have lost is because of the 2nd quarter(20-0 Denver)

The Steelers had made a nice comeback in 2nd half and I was confident that the Steelers were going to win this game when they were in overtime, but unfortunately ....
