looks like theres a good chance of that. They were probably the biggest threat to take him away, this makes me feel better

Seriously PB.....if you're going to be this obsessed with Wallace, you just need to go 100% Wallace. You should change your avatar and your sig file to him.

as I said in another topic, the Pats made me very afraid and it would be a big nightmare if Wallace would go with the Pats.

I hope that the Pats go instead signed Brandon Lloyd.

The San Francisco 49ers have reached agreement on a one-year deal with free agent wide receiver Randy Moss, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Moss, 35, worked out for the 49ers at their facility on Monday. Financial terms were not disclosed. The lack of a field-stretching wide receiver on the 49ers was evident in their NFC Championship Game loss to the New York Giants. Michael Crabtree had the only reception by the team's wide receivers in that game, a three-yard reception late in the fourth quarter, and the team could lose starter Josh Morgan to unrestricted free agency.

Don't they run a WC Offense?

seems like an odd fit....

There are plenty of variations to the WCO. The Eagles and Packers run it but it's a vertical west coast.

true

but what I saw from the 49ers last year seemed like a very traditional WC. And with Alex Smith as your QB? That's cancer moss waiting to happen

This could get interesting if suddenly they acquired Manning

guess they hope that Moss draws the double team away from Davis. Cause Crabtree is coverable with a corner.

Sounds like they didn't have much of a choice given their receiving corp.

If the 49ers were smart they'd use Peyton Manning's free agency to get Alex Smith to sign a low ball contract. :chuckle: Seriously, what's Alex going to do if you say sign this or we're going elsewhere?
