All week I was thinking the same thing. But when push comes to shove I've got to root for the Broncos. I hate Brady and Bellichick too much to ever want them to win.

I'm a Georgia fan living in Florida, so I've had to hear people sing St. Timothy's praises for many years. I don't want to have to listen to it for yet another week, so I'm pullin' for the Pats. Also, as a NFL fan, I'd like to see the AFC represented well in the Super Bowl. The Pats and the Rats provide the best possibility for that.

After our loss I saw where Tomlin said he wasn't sure if he would change anything in the way of his defensive game plan. I hope he can get the game film of the Patriots drubbing of the Broncos today, so maybe he can see that there were things he should have and could have done different.

How we managed to make that offense look legit I'll never figure out? :frusty:

The Steelers' game plan was completely bad on defense.

The game plan has put the Steelers in a very vulnerable position against the long passes.

A zone defense against Tebow would have been a better option.

Tomlin and Lebeau have done their worst coaching job of their life last week

I can not believe the game that Tebow has had against the steelers.

Thattaway to keep establishing the run game Denver. Although, to be fair, it's not like they have much choice. #whendoestebowtimestart (http://www.steelersuniverse.com/#!/search?q=%23whendoestebowtimestart)

I hope they break Brady's leg. Seriously I do. I know it's not right to want an injury, but what the hell, they're up 42-10, and they're passing nearly every play? I could care less about running up the score, but if you're bellichick, and you lose Brady to an injury at this point, what exactly are you saying/

The Broncos sandbagged for 4 weeks in the regular season to blindside the first team they faced in the playoffs. It worked. ONCE.

This last week of full-on Tebow slobbering actually turned me into a Pats fan for one game. I literally couldn't watch 30 seconds of ESPN without hearing his name and switching the channel.

Oh, and I'd rather have lost to the Broncos last week than have our depleted team trounced by the Pats and have to listen to another year of how we can't get past them in the playoffs.

4 years since our last playoff win... Believe me, we needed this.

I don't want to pile it on, but the Steelers killed themselves with that game plan last week. Troy Polamalu is one of my favorite players in the league, but his aggression to stop the run completely backfired. Patriots had the same defensive scheme the whole game. Front 7 stop the run. 2 corners. 2 safeties deep. Tebow doesn't know what to do.

What could he do since he was running for his life all night :chuckle:. The Pats played their best D of the year tonight. It sure isn't on Tebow that the Pats scored 45 points.

True. But Brady had the shakes early on. He threw a horrendous pick, and I'm pretty sure if they were playing a playoff-worthy QB that game would have been tied at 14.

Absolutely, my biggest problem is after giving up all the deep stuff we still didn't try some zone.

Seems the donco's line forgot how to pass protect between last week and this week too. Ya'lls Defense has sucked but they are peaking at the right time.

All I need to do to justify the Steelers' loss to Denver and Denver's loss to New England is look at New England's Injured list at the end of their game and look at the Steeler's injured list at the end of theirs.
Nuff said, onto next season.

Yeah, the Pats had 35 at the half on that defense. That's how you take care of an 8-8 team in the playoffs, early in the game and don't give them hope.
